Honestly at a loss for words. This concert has been 7 years in anticipation. 7 years. I think Wei'an and myself crumbled when they finally played Andalucia. I swear we didn't see it in the set list of songs but yet they played it - they played it. We waited 7 years for Pink Martini to come and they finally came. It was an almost 2 hours performance with an encore at the end. I enjoyed every single moment. The band is amazing. Such awesome talented people.
Mosaic 2010 is AMAZING. GO SINGAPORE!

Let me be perfectly honest. I have realised that I haven't been excited about many things as of late - like my birthday, anniversary, new work tasks and surprise gifts. I was wondering if it was because i was in a mellowed/mellowing stage. But when I was 2m away from Erica, Heather & Annie - I WAS COMPLETELY LIKE OMGZZZZZZ! Okay I died when they sang Sad Song. I also died when Annie smiled right at us BECAUSE ITS LIKE OMGZZZZ! It was such a good concert because no one pushed anyone, we had a free drink, we were like, so close to them and like, everyone enjoyed the performance. IT WAS SO GOOD!
ALSO! By a stroke of divine intervention (seriously, God is awesome!), Yanping and I spotted two girls showing off merch and we ran upstairs only to realise we were like, buying the last two aurevoirsimone tees and I GOT AN AUTOGRAPHED CD OMGZZ!!!!!
I do realise I'm not even speaking properly anymore.
I could live like this in this state forever.

From one of those happier weekends where work was far away from my mind. Tea for two, brimming with love.
I am home. On sick leave. Feeling terrible, obviously. I have a variety of 7 medication for almost everything you can think of / throat, nose, menstrual cramps. I commented to my bff via text that clearly, I must be dying. This is probably nature's way of telling me to get a grip on myself.
Life 8 hours (or more) away from home has been exciting and challenging. I have gone from weepy, to overwhelmed and unhappy. And currently I'm just in transition mode wondering if this is what I really want. This might sound a little contradictory but I feel that I can do it - but like a spoilt child I'm just sitting on the floor hoping to be picked up and told what to do. But this must stop - I must figure out what I want or need to do.
But right now, let me recap my very smooth flowing day thus far. I had breakfast with pancakes + sausage + english breakfast tea with Weijie. Popped by the doc's to be presented with a bouquet of pills. I took a quick nap on the sofa. SisterMary prepped a bowl of warm porridge + I stole Wei'ans sardines (HEHEHEHE). I packed my expat management notes + laptop + a bunch of cds + organiser + emergency fiction book to read (in case im bored) into a bigggg ass cute bag from littleoddforest and brought them all down with me into the living room. Right now ? I'm listening to Jamie Cullum and am about to start studying. (STUDY! OMG).
I think life is fantastic despite all these physical shitz thats bothering me. After all, I am home on a beautiful hot wednesday afternoon :)
