Meditation
Love is beautiful, fierce, and strong. An insatiable, all-consuming fire. A lion pacing on the red hot embers of desire. Love is a thirst that's never quenched, A sacred flame that can't be drenched By icy showers of sobriety Or a society Strangled by notions of propriety.
So what kind of love is this, This love that dares not speak its name? This love that hangs its head in shame? Is this so-called love even worthy of its name?
True love doesn't lie, It doesn't hide, And it will never be denied The right to sing its furious song In the sad, empty streets from dusk 'til dawn. Love laughs at fear And cries out its name for all to hear.
Love is beautiful, Fierce, and loud. But most of all, Love is PROUD! |

| peter and his brides |
[May. 18th, 2007|03:07 am] |
You probably wouldn't believe it, but I dreamt of Peter O'Neill two days ago.
I dreamt that we were all doing some really last minute cramming outside the hall at this area with lotsa study benches and which had a carpark leading to it (sounds more like the first level in school though) when Peter walked from the carpark into that area and we were all whispering that the man is Peter. After that, an announcement was made that we were supposed to go to this swanky ballroom kind of place.
So, everyone went to that place and were anxiously waiting for the next set of instructions. Then, this teacher called for me and she talked to me regarding my performance for something, so we were just discussing what went wrong and whatever. After that, I asked for her permission to go to this really nice and clean toilet near the front of the place when Peter started talking.
Suddenly, he announced that he was taking brides from our cohort and his brides-to-be were Casey (gasp), Charlotte (gasp) and the skinny one who is trying to be Jap (gasp).
Cannot really remember what happened after that though. Sigh. Really silly dream. I mean, I dreamt of Peter of all people leh. Gimme my first love or Praba anytime, man.
Oh yeah. I think after that, we were told that in exchange for his "brides", our SM paper was cancelled.
Sheesh. |

[May. 7th, 2007|02:34 am] |
The luxuries of late-night studying.
Accompanying me are: - Pretty, twinkling stars. The nights have been wonderfully cloudless recently. - Music from my much loved Power 98. - My cup of hot Milo just before bedtime. - Fellow insomnias.
Body clock's totally turned upside down. Andrew's Rodney's one is bright and early. Urgh. |

| darkness, darkness everywhere, do you feel all alone? |
[May. 4th, 2007|01:45 am] |
"You Are The Moon" by The Hush Sound
Shadows all around you as you surface from the dark Emerging from the gentle grip of night's unfolding arms Darkness, darkness everywhere, do you feel all alone? The subtle grace of gravity, the heavy weight of stone
You don't see what you possess, a beauty calm and slear It floods the sky and blurs the darkness like a chandelier All the light that you possess is skewed by lakes and seas The shattered surface, so imperfect, is all that you believe
I will bring a mirror, so silver, so exact So precise and so pristine, a perfect pane of glass I will set the mirror up to face the blackened sky So you can see your beauty every morning that you rise
Indie pop. Love the instrumental parts of the song. Perfect for the quietness of tonight. |

| peter, please don't make sheryl crow cry |
[May. 3rd, 2007|01:33 am] |
Hello. This is one of the normal kinds of notes.

This is the abnormal kind of notes dear Peter and Rodney gave us.

At a crucial time when our Mother Earth is warming up and Sheryl Crow says we can only use one square of toilet paper (unless for bigger stuff) and there will be mega concerts by big stars throughout the world on 7 July...
These are the pages we have to flip through just to learn about creating value through diversification. Sheryl Crow can cry lor.

And look! This is one of the man who has caused us so much heart and head pain. Look how handsome un-old Peter O'Neill is! To think I thought he's some old man who doesn't know how to shrink two slides into one. Sigh. Poor Peter.
The fun begins today! |

| and you're asking yourself what "bs" means |
[May. 1st, 2007|03:40 am] |
I kinda like this sentence that BS BH is using as his MSN nick.
Never make someone a priority in your life when you know you're just an option in his.
Definitely something to keep in mind. Why am I still up and online now?! Snorts. Bang. Go sleep, myself. |

30 years and more to come! |

[Apr. 26th, 2007|01:51 am] |
Well, just by reading your blog, I would think that you're someone who's "weak", but from what I've heard, you're not. Are you baring your heart and soul for all and sundry, or is the blog just a façade?
I guess only time (and further interaction) will tell. |

On other news, our dear GP tutor is now a Corporate Communications Executive at MOE. How cool is that!? She's like the modern young woman I aspire to be. Knowledgeable, pragmatic, motivating, independent (no need men to survive, but know when to need them) and she used to mark our scripts at the café at Esplanade Library. Hip lor. |

| unite, cedarians, unite |
[Apr. 15th, 2007|03:02 am] |
I just found out that Cedar will be undergoing a major renovation soon, which means the school will have to vacate its current premises for a couple of years. Like for what?! Isn't the school still looking nice and new? They're also going to build a new sports hall, which we already have what! Snorts. Waste of resources lor.
Does that mean that I have to put Cedar as one of the must-dos before I leave? Well, granted it will still be there when I return but all of yous will be working already, nobody to accompany me and fend off the security guards! |

[Apr. 14th, 2007|03:31 am] |
This is what I want to do.
After I become an empowered and financially independent young lady, I shall take a sabbatical and spend time (months!) helping out in one or more of The MAG's projects. Well, I don't just want to do that. I want to really help, like make use of my knowledge and capability to make a difference.
This is what I shall do.
Get a good job, save up and master the language. Will five years be enough?
2012 or 2013 it shall be. My little own personal goal. Ah ah, don't even go trying to sneak around and find out which "MAG" I'm referring to. (You can't find it. Trust me. I google-d it myself. Tee hee! Told ya it's my personal goal, not yours.) |

Thank you!
Dear darling ML, the brave girl,
For the finger puppet that resembles so-you-all-say-the-thing-that-represents-me! But then hor, my trademark animal is my four-legged wormie lor!
And dear dear dear WS, the lovely LJ friendie,
For this!

Now, I have to go and drink coffee and reply to the SMS-es that have accumulated since this morning. Yesssss, I reply slow. |
